Weiser's most stunning buildings—the Snake River Heritage Center. Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just finished your first project, we'd love to feature your work as part of this special exhibition.
Check-in and setup begins at 11am on Thursday, October 9th. Bring your quilts and join us as we transform the museum into a vibrant celebration of textile artistry.
Community Quilt Show – Open to the Public -- $2 admission at the door
The Snake River Heritage Center invites you to tour all four floors of the Weiser Museum, with beautiful quilts displayed throughout our historic building. Join us Friday morning as we open our doors to the public for this special event.
On Friday and Saturday (at 11am and again at 2pm each day), Weiser's historical story teller, Sarah Borda, will present a 30-minute presentation of "A Quilting Story on the Oregon Trail" highlighting the story of Martha Roberts, first person who died and was buried at Salubria (Cambridge).
Our fleet of volunteers will be on hand to give tours and share fascinating stories about the Heritage Center's treasures. Ever wondered what makes the clock tower tick? Now's your chance to find out! Our gift shop will also be open for your browsing pleasure.
Come celebrate local artistry and community heritage—we can't wait to see you there!

TBD 2026
7pm - 9pm (MDT)
Prepare for a spine-tingling presentation at The Haunted History of Weiser, a captivating storytelling event led by one of Weiser's most dedicated researchers of the eerie and unexplained.
This chilling (yet incredibly fun) presentation will walk you through a shoot-out, an unsolved murder (whose body is still buried under a Weiser building), and a lynching in the 1880's.
If you're looking for a good thrill and some exciting company, this event promises an unforgettable evening. Don’t miss your chance to uncover the hidden side of Weiser while supporting local history.
Bring a friend and your curiosity—this is a night you won’t want to forget!
